Virginia Kondas.jpgVirginia Kondas, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at UHealth Tower in Miami and a member of 1199SEIU Florida, has been a caregiver for 30 years.  She is a strong advocate of Amendment 4 on November’s ballot that would reverse Florida’s dangerous abortion ban and stop government interference with a woman’s most private medical care.

“As a mother of a 26-year-old daughter, I am concerned about the future of healthcare for young women,” said Kondas, who was born in Panama, raised in Florida and served 12 years in the U.S. Army National Guard. “Reproductive care is a deeply personal and vital decision that should not be controlled by politicians. Their interference only adds stress during an already emotional time. Women deserve respect and the ability to make their own choices about their health. Please join me in voting Yes On 4.”

Election day is November 5, with early voting open in most major Florida regions October 21 to November 3.  Please check with your county’s Supervisor of Elections office to check dates and your registration status.
