Last September, 1199 caregivers along with NYU students led a rally at the law school’s Straus Institute for the Advanced Study of Law and Justice to draw attention to the exploitative practices of the Care One and HealthBridge nursing homes. NYU Law School trustee Daniel Straus runs both nursing home chains, which have been found to have violated federal labor law over 17 times. They were met by counter-protestors, who we later discovered were indirectly hired by Care One. In this new video, an NYU student talks about the experience being harassed by these individuals on his own campus.
