Mark DeFord is a Registered Nurse (RN) in Palm Beach County and former U.S. Marine who is now fighting to pass Florida Amendment 4 on this November’s ballot.  The amendment would keep government from interfering with women’s healthcare and reproductive rights, and would reverse the state’s extreme and dangerous abortion ban.

After proudly serving overseas in some of the world’s most perilous combat zones to help protect our freedoms back home, DeFord is now deeply concerned about Florida politicians who are taking away crucial healthcare rights for families.

“It’s a travesty that Florida politicians have taken away important healthcare rights of our citizens and are intruding into our most private decisions,” said DeFord. “Let’s all fight together to win these freedoms back, by voting yes on Amendment 4.”

Election day is November 5, with early voting open in most major Florida regions October 21 to November 3.  Please check with your county’s Supervisor of Elections office to check dates and your registration status.
