“A Supreme Court rollback of Roe vs. Wade would be a tragic loss of reproductive freedoms and healthcare for tens of millions of women in the United States, especially in states such as Florida that have passed extreme and intrusive laws curtailing women’s freedom and right to self-determination.

The decision to terminate a pregnancy is personal. The state has no business sticking its nose in conversations between a woman, her loved ones, and her doctor. Our organization of caregivers, largely made up of women, understands what this pending decision will mean for our daughters and granddaughters. A reversal of Roe vs. Wade after 50 years isn’t going to end abortions, but it will make women’s lives harder, and it will put the most marginalized women in danger. Women will suffer and some will die.

We take action today to express our collective outrage. However, we are just as determined to channel that anger and energy into decisive actions to win back power to firmly and permanently protect our reproductive freedoms. This is critical for our friends, sisters, daughters, and granddaughters today and for years to come. We will: Organize. Organize. Organize!”
