We are proud to welcome more than 65 new service employee members, who work St Anthony’s Community Hospital in Warwick, New York, into the 1199SEIU family. This is the latest bargaining unit in the Westchester Medical Center Health Network to vote decisively to join our union. The newest members voted nearly unanimously to join 1199.

By providing compassionate and professional care to people across the Hudson Valley, our new colleagues embody the spirit of the 1199 local.

As well as having a larger say in their working lives, the newest members at St Anthony’s voted to join our union to enable them to negotiate for 1199’s child care, job security, affordable quality healthcare and educational benefits.
