We are 1199SEIU healthcare workers who live and work in 17 counties from the northern suburbs of New York City on both sides of the Hudson River—Westchester and Rockland counties—as well as the rural and semi-rural Putnam, Dutchess, Columbia, Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, and Greene counties, up the Hudson to the capital city of Albany, as far north as the southern Adirondacks, and as far west as Gloversville in the eastern Mohawk Valley.
We are approximately 17,000 members who work at hospitals and nursing homes and clinics, pharmacies, and community-based organizations.
