The U.S. Presidential Election will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024.  


MARYLAND  

You must be registered to vote in Maryland to cast your ballot. Pre-registration is possible, but not necessary; registration may be completed during early voting and on Election Day. See more information here.  

Voting by Mail  

Marylanders hoping to receive a ballot in the mail must submit their request before October 29.  ​​​​​​

Request a ballot using this link, or request a mail-in ballot in person at your local board of elections office.  

The ballot must be mailed by 8 pm on November 5.  

Early Voting  

Early voting begins October 24 - October 31.

Centers will be open each day between 7 am and 8 pm.

WASHINGTON, D.C. 

Voters must be registered to vote by October 15 to cast their ballots in the 2024 election.

Voting by Mail  

All individuals registered to vote in DC will receive a ballot in the mail. Ballots can be returned in a DCBOE drop box from October 11 on, or sent via USPS.

Early voting begins October 28 - November 3.
