Healthcare Workers Union Celebrates the Hard Work and Dedication of Area Nurses with a Fun-Filled Evening of Socializing & Shopping

Buffalo, NY - National Nurse Week begins May 6 and ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightengale.  During this week, we honor and recognize the sacrifices of nurses across the country and here in WNY.  

1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, the largest healthcare workers union in the country represents thousands of nurses in the eight counties of Western New York including Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other nursing jobs. 

WHO: Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, Home Health Aides, their families, and local area vendors.  

WHAT: Nurses from Western New York hospitals and nursing homes will enjoy an evening of socializing and shopping. Dozens of local vendors from health & wellness to food and work accessories will be on hand including: Fetch Dog Treats, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Touch Stone, Essential Oils, Nu Skin, Life Itself, Pampered Chef, Mumbo Sauce, Sipology, 26 Shirts, Celestial Silver Lining Jewelry, Butterfly Moon & Jess W.
