The East Brooklyn Call to Action for Health and Economic Justice was an opportunity for community leaders, activists, and advocates to come together and discuss taking ownership of the community’s health, housing, education, and future. The event was co-sponsored by 1199, One Brooklyn Health System, the NYC Center for Health Equity, DC37, the NY State Nurses Association, Community Care of Brooklyn, East Brooklyn Congregations, the Pitkin Avenue Business Improvement District, the Rogosin Institute, and BMS Family Health and Wellness Centers.
