Victory! Last week Group of “44” and Greater NY nursing home members preserved standards for those who serve our vulnerable and elderly community members throughout New York. Each group of workers won the 3.5 percent raise they’d been fighting for since last August, and preserved their benefits. These victories followed months of exhaustive negotiation and resistance from management, and is a true example of what we can achieve when we stand together in Unity & Power.
