Universal pre-K is one of the most important policies in our city's history for addressing the crisis of economic inequality. This is not the time for misinformation or distraction. The whole nation is looking to New York as a leader in progressive policies for working people, and we all need to pull together and focus on supporting our shared goal of making sure this program succeeds. Mayor de Blasio's administration is doing everything in their power to ensure 50,000 newly enrolled children have access to safe, high quality pre-K classes.
