For the past 14 years, nurses have ranked in public opinion as the most respected profession in the country. Our 1199SEIU registered nurses (RNs) are highly trained and educated professionals who save lives while caring for patients in a diversity of settings. RNs are the primary advocates for the safety and health of patients and the backbone of the medical teams that assure patients receive excellent medical care and are treated with dignity, respect and compassion. RNs are also on the frontlines during emergencies, national catastrophes and healthcare crises.
